MIMS PTA Mission
The purpose of the Mandela International Magnet School’s (MIMS) Parent/Teacher Association is to:
- Promote activities that enhance the joy and well-being of MIMS’s students, teachers, and staff in a way that compliments and enriches the learning environment.
- Advocate on behalf of students, teachers, staff and the school.
- Build community within the school. Enhance the relationships amongst the staff, students, parents, and the wider Santa Fe community. Encourage the school community’s investment of time, contributions, and energy towards making MIMS the best it can be!
Our Mission
The Mandela International Magnet School is a public school of choice for students in grades 7 – 12 where learning via intellectual curiosity and inquiry are at the core of all we do. By utilizing the International Baccalaureate curriculum and its Learner Profile, students will succeed academically and actively use their diverse talents to work towards creating a better and more peaceful world.
