Our Vision
We envision students of the Mandela International Magnet School (MIMS) graduating with the initiative, vision, desire, and tools to be agents of positive change in our global community. MIMS will equip students with the linguistic, cultural, and academic skills, as well as with the emotional intelligence needed, to be active and responsible world citizens, disciplined learners, and compassionate, principled and innovative decision makers.
Our Mission
The Mandela International Magnet School is a public school of choice for students in grades 7 – 12 where learning via intellectual curiosity and inquiry are at the core of all we do. By utilizing the International Baccalaureate curriculum and its Learner Profile, students will succeed academically and actively use their diverse talents to work towards creating a better and more peaceful world.
